Listen up, Bones fans, because we’re going to get a treat next week on April 8, 2010.

If you haven’t heard already, Bones will be airing its 100th episode. It is called “The Parts in the Sum of the Whole” and will finally show the first encounter between Booth and Brennan. Not only that, but Zack Addy will be back since it is in the past, and it is directed by Booth’s actor, David Boreanaz.

Here is the summary:

This episode will go back six years ago to the first case between Temperance Brennan and Seeley Booth. It starts present day, when Sweets finally finishes his book. But Booth and Brennan are upset and decide to set the facts straight and tell the real story, which is where we go into the past.

Young and reckless Booth seeks help from an anthropological team and street artist, hoping to prove his suspect guilty. Dr. Brennan doesn’t really know how to go forward with this kind of case but her intern Zack and teammate Hodgins help her, impressing Booth for all the help they deliver: new leads, evidence, and pointing everything at a well-connected judge.

So while the case does make a strong foundation for the partnership, we get to finally see the convoluted romance from the beginning, whose feelings for each other almost destroy the team, years later…
